Profile

Dr Richards Sacks qualified as a doctor at Southampton University in 1996 after graduating with a first class honours degree in Psychology.  He worked as a House Physician in General and Respiratory Medicine at the Royal United Hospital in Bath and as a House Surgeon in General Surgery & Urology at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital. 

He completed further training as a Senior House Officer in Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, General Medicine, Accident & Emergency and Psychiatry at St. Mary’s Hospital, London.

Dr Sacks received postgraduate qualifications from The Royal College of Paediatrics (DCH), The Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (DRCOG) and the Faculty of Family Planning & Reproductive Healthcare (DFFP).  He has further qualifications in Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).

He is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) and of the Independent Doctors Federation (IDF) which supports independently practicing doctors to achieve the highest professional standards caring for patients.
