Profile
Dr Mark Jopling trained at Nottingham Medical School and he has worked in a variety of specialities before completing his GP training and becoming a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners. He also holds diplomas in Child Health and Clinical Psychiatry.
He has trained in Expedition Medicine, Advance Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support. He has done additional training at The Hospital for Tropical Diseases, London and worked in a rural clinic in Kenya after qualifying. He has been the expedition doctor on a number of overseas trips including climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and he has led 10 canoe expeditions.
His training and experience enables him to be able to offer comprehensive pre-travel care.
