Our General Practitioners and Consultants are required to keep your information confidential and to clearly record any care and treatment that you receive. These records are important in ensuring that you receive the best possible care. We will refer to these if and when you return for a follow up appointment or any further treatment.
Relevant information will be safely stored so that it can only be accessed by you GP or Consultant. You have a right to access your own records as defined by the Data Protection Act 1998. If you would like to access your files, please write to your General Practitioner or Consultant.
